San Juan River
Class II - Class III
The San Juan River rises as a mountain rivulet in the lofty San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado. Flowing through some of the most spectacular canyon country on Earth, the San Juan descends more than 400 miles to its confluence with the Colorado River. The upper stretches of the San Juan offer thrilling day outings, while the legendary lower canyon run hosts pristine wilderness excursions of 3-7 days in length.
